The Best Affordable Antique Brass Cabinet Hardware

Hi friends! Today I am sharing our high-quality, budget-friendly antique brass kitchen hardware! And believe me, I tried more than a few *insert sweating emoji* in our kitchen to find these beauties.
We recently painted our old kitchen cabinets (actually for the second time) and you can see the full blog post on how we did it here. This time though… we did it correctly! *insert another sweating emoji face* We chose a soft, warm greige, and in my heart of hearts, I wanted unlacquered brass hardware to pair with it that would shine against the new, cozy color. If you’re on a budget and you’ve looked at unlacquered brass hardware, you’ve probably had a similar reaction to the one I had. It’s not cheap! However, when I really started looking at exactly the look I wanted, I realized it’s the AGED version of brass hardware that I love so much. When it looks beautifully loved on and lived in.
I ordered a few options claiming both antique brass and aged brass. And while much of it was actually very pretty and might be perfect in another kitchen – it wasn’t the authentic look I was after.
Our cabinet pulls are so sturdy and beautiful. Down to the smallest details, these are so beautiful.
WHY DID WE CHOOSE OUR ANTIQUE BRASS KITCHEN HARDWARE?
In my opinion, antique brass hardware adds an instant inviting, lived-in feel. It’s an easy way to add character to your home while remaining completely timeless!
Antique brass is nostalgic and elegant, and I truly believe it single-handedly took the vision I had for our kitchen and made it come to life. Also, due to varying hues of gold reflected in it – it’s able to match varying hardware easier than some brass might be. This is a win for me because we have a champagne bronze kitchen faucet that I adore and did not want to replace, and they blend just perfectly.
We tried other finishes against our new taupe-y paint color, and none brought the “lived-in elegance” vision to life like these beauties.
